No one was injured Thursday night when a small, private plane slid off the runway at a private airport in Medina County.
Authorities say the Cessna 172 was attempting to land at SkyPark Airport in Guilford Township at 7:15 p.m. when the plane slid off the north end of the runway.
There were two people on board. Both walked away from the crash unharmed.
The plane came to a stop with its nose partially blocking Greenwich Road. No vehicles were hit.
The Highway Patrol turned the investigation over to the FAA. Federal investigators are expected to inspect the plane today.
